Information We Collect

Collected as you use the site, for any visitor — no account required

• Analytics & Advertising: We use Google Analytics (pages viewed, time on site) and Meta Pixel, Meta's ad-tracking tool, on every page. On five pages — Home, the Awlgrip Calculator, the Fiberglass Cloth Saturation Calculator, the Epifanes Calculator, and the MEKP Calculator — we also run Google AdSense to serve ads.
• Calculator Usage: When you complete a calculation, we log which calculator you used, the inputs and results, and a random ID stored in your browser for that session (no login required). We also look up your approximate country and city from your IP address, using a third-party service, ipapi.co. If you're logged in, this activity is linked to your account. If you use a calculator's "email me these results" option, we separately record that you did — as a yes/no flag only; this record does not include your email address.
• Affiliate Link Clicks: When you click a link to an affiliate product or retailer, we log the product, its destination URL, the page you clicked from, your session ID, and your account if you're logged in.

Provided by you, only if you create an account or use certain features

• Account Information: your name, email address, company name, and account tier (Free or Pro). Pro subscribers also have a billing reference linking their account to Stripe, our payment processor — we do not see or store your card number. We also record whether an account is a beta tester.
• Trello Integration (Pro, optional): if you choose to connect Trello, we store your Trello API key and token so we can push your saved estimates to your own Trello board.
• Saved Favorites: if you're logged in, starred kits and materials are saved to your account. If you're not logged in, favorites are stored only in your own browser and are never sent to us.
• Repair Estimator (Pro): estimates you build and save, including your own customers' names and phone numbers and email addresses; their boat's name, make, model, and hull identification number (HIN); financial details; any notes you add; and, if you've connected Trello, that estimate's Trello sync status. This is your business's own record about your customers, which we store so you can retrieve and share it — it isn't data we collect about site visitors.
• Emailed Calculator Results: if you enter an email address to have a calculator's results sent to you, we send that email via Resend, our email-delivery provider. If you also check the box to receive marine repair tips, we add your address as a contact in Brevo, our marketing platform, tagged with the calculator you last used, so we can send you related updates — you can unsubscribe from those at any time. Whether or not you check that box has no effect on receiving your results email.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers named above (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google AdSense, ipapi.co, Resend, Brevo, and Stripe, our payment processor), each of whom uses it only to provide their part of the site. If you're a Pro user who connects Trello, your estimate data goes to your own Trello board at your direction — that's a service you've chosen to connect to your account, not something we share with a third party ourselves.
